Bill and Renee Bliznick,
The It's a Jungle Clayworks Potters

We are a husband and wife team who enjoy creating functional pieces that have a sense of humor. We start with wheel thrown shapes that we assemble and alter to create animals. We work with both low fire and stoneware clay. All of our glazes are safe for food and drink, and all of our pieces are one-of-a-kind!

Bill Bliznick is a self-taught potter who first learned to throw clay at the Fort Campbell Base in Kentucky. He is retired from the U.S. Army and a former millwright. Renee Bliznick is a retired art teacher and artist. The couple met in 1999 at an arts and crafts fair, where Renee was drawing portraits. Six months later, they married, and they have been laughing and working in clay ever since.
